In his X-Men run it was with Xorn Magneto, but there were little problems before that.

One of his most recent comics was given to him after it was stolen away from Greg Rucka, of course he never apologized. He thinks very highly of himself and very lowly of everyone else. There is no reason why somebody who enjoys Alan Moore's work would not also enjoy Grant Morrison's work. The only reason Moore fans trash Morrison is because Moore did, and the only reason Moore trashed Morrison is because he has a huge ego and rarely has anything nice to say for anyone in the comics industry other than himself.

Morrison has done a lot of interesting thought-provoking stuff, you can like it or dislike it but he's definitely expanded what's acceptable in superhero books as well as doing really original stuff outside of superhero books. And his work on established characters like Superman and Batman shows he has a great love for them and a depth of knowledge about them, not just the popular stuff but the fringe weirdness which he manages to tap in to and bring back in a new way.

All those version of Superman is a play on how under Mort's editorship during the Silver Age had wacky versions of the character

Bandage Superman is the Superman we see in that story. It is one of his feats to travel back in time and do this, so this is not a Superman from the future, but the dying Superman we are actually following.

Golden God Superman isn't impossible, because he became a golden god through living in the sun for so long. It's what happened in Morrisons One Million in the 90s, so if you haven't read that, I can understand the confusion. That should probably have been adressed, but I think it's hinted at enough that he's supposed to be a transcended Clark (where the how isn't really relevant).

It's also explained somewhere that the 2 clone would not be a Bizarro, but a "normal" clone. I think in the movie Luthor had this little redemption thing where he worked out how to clone Superman properly and in the comic it's Quintum.
