What do you think about clowns, /co/?

Are there any actual good clown heroes or villains? They're pretty underused and I hardly ever see any.
I assume it's because DC just defaults to Joker or Harley all the time, but neither of them have been clowns for years now. Ever since the bronze age, Joker's just kinda been an anarchist with makeup and Harley's always just kinda used as eye candy after BTAS.

Harlequin/Joker's Daughter was a heroic clown girl until N52. I'd like to see her revisited and made heroic and fun again. There's also the old Harlequin, and Jewlee of Punch and Jewelee.

Like Spider Man has some minor villain that's a guy in a clown outfit. Also, there's usually an angry clown henchman in the Circus of Crime.

Darkhawk from Supreme Squadron had some clown archvillain that he killed, but then they were meant to be expies of DC characters, meaning Batman and the Joker, anyway.

Disagree. Her N52 version from JD#1 on had a lot of interesting ideas but was never handled particularly well, mostly due to being given to poor writers. The changing backstory gimmick that made her so compelling had roots in her pre-Flashpoint incarnations anyway.
