At the rate DC is going they'll be a cheap buy for Disney soon.

That's not how it works.
At the rate Marvel is going, Disney will likely sell them to Warner.
At the rate Warner is going, Disney will likely sell DC to Marvel

Can't wait till the movie trend dies out. It'll be great to see smug cunts like Bendis be at a loss of words.
>>88143296
Nope. Not unless AT&T and Disney merge into one mega-corporation.
>>88143296
wait till Quesada is kicked off
>>88145303
Seeing Bendis get fired after the movie trend is done would be hilarious.

After 16 years is it even a "trend"? Starting to think capes will always be a thing, much like spy movies or horror
>>88152744
>After 16 years is it even a "trend"?
The general public are starting to complain about the movies more and more and there are less and less people going to see the movies. Yeah, it's a trend.
>>88143296
it's just business
>>88144133
that's exactly how it works
>>88145246
nobody's going to sell anything to Warner, the board will never get shareholder approval while the AT&T deal is being worked out
>>88145303
>>88152010
Bendis works for the comic publishers, he's got nothing to do with the studio
got fired in fact
>>88147371
there's absolutely no reason to believe Time Warner, even without becoming part of AT&T, would want to pursue DC as a property indefinitely, especially if the value of the revenue it generates (and the profit share of that revenue) drop
>>88150008
Quesada hasn't worked in publishing since like 2010, anon
>>88152788
that's more likely because there are more than ever before and they're bigger deals, ie more profitable
like how people complained about Westerns because for a time that's all anybody made and you know there was this huge dropoff in the number being made that the genre never recovered from
so like this year there's only been what a dozen westerns released and you know that's like most years just a dozen or so
sure they're not all raking in the awards or the big money, but some of them are, enough to keep them getting made
no genre is ever going away again now that we have so many accessible media outlets on-demand
>>88152744
chicken dinner
>>88153003
I'm not talking about genres going away, I'm talking about Marvel's fascination with the movies. Soon it'll stop being the big thing and they'll go back to focusing more on the comics.
>>88143296
We'll have 4 more installments of Marvel vs Capcom before that becomes a possibility
