It's a non-South Park cartoon on Comedy Central. It was a show that aired on Comedy Central.

No other cartoon has ever had success on Comedy Central. Not even Futurama's return. America really needs an animation network for older audiences.
>>
>>88127708
Problem is a lot of the time schedule would be wasted. There are very specific times of day where adults would tune in, like Adult Swim. The rest would eventually loan out their time to shit like COPS like G4 did.

Pretty much. The internet and Netflix are forcing on-demand content into the spotlight. It just doesn't make sense to be a slave to a schedule when you can watch absolutely anything at any time.

Also for the record I loved Ugly americans. Fuck it broke my heart it got shitcanned.

Netflix is also dying. It's getting more expensive to push out original content while also providing a variety of shows.
>>
>>88128653
The costs of running it are growing, but they'll probably survive for some time. Or something very much like it.

It also doesnt help when the network decides that your show doesnt air every thursday at 9pm anymore, but now shows on wednesday at 2am with no warning, and then cancels the show because its not bringing in good ratings anymore.

Netflix is not dying any more than Google or Microsoft is.

They do that when they want to shitcan a show. It usually happens to shows that have a decent to good ratings when it starts sothey sign it on for like 4 seasons or somethingbut then it fucking tanks by the end of season 1 or into season 2. So they shove it into a slot where it would never get the ratings needed to warrant another season. Same thing happened to Mystery Inc., Uncle Grampa, and Ben 10 on CN.

Tosh.0 has a budget sub 100k an episode budget and pulls good rerun and on demand ratings. Blame the sub-humans that watch non-stop fail videos to feel good about themselves.
>>
>>88129984
Its more the sub humans who need a professional joke performer to help them understand jokes about people walking into doors while singing about how gay they are.

It's even sadder there's a rip off show on MTV that supplies to a somehow lower denominator than Tosh.
>>
>>88130079
Notice i didn't call him a comedian but rather a professional joke performer?
That's all he's good for, speaking to a camera and reading lines. Not very well at that, you can hear him take deep breaths to read ahead.
>>
>>88130121
Yes, Tosh's readings are really dry without the laugh track. And he doesn't really hit cues very well. But he is a "Professional" in the sense that it is his profession.

Its a few billion in debt, its losing a lot of its shows to other streaming services. ABC FOX NBC CBS all have their own streaming services now so they are licensing less out to Netflix. It wont be dead over night but it is on a slow decline with little to help it survive in its current form.
>>
>>88130901
Yeah but thats way too much competeition for too many exclusive shows. The bubble is going to burst and netflix will probably be back up unless the cable providers beat them to it. Nobody wans to pay four subscriptions for one TV

I dunno, between Amazon Prime, basic cable, and Netflix you get a pretty good spread of programming
>>
>>88130927
But if you already have cable or satellite you can use the main 4 channels streaming service for no extra cost. Its the cable companies and networks trying to keep the status quo while kinda giving in.
>>
>>88127634

it went away from mark lily experiences weird things and a weird universe with his demon girlfriend. They built the show like the 70s show but with weird mysteries in the first season

it went away from that in second season for the most part and it suffered for it.
>>
>>88130998
Oh, up in Manitoba, Canada the services are run by the cable companies, not sure about the rest of the provences, our telecommunications companies think they're playing Risk or something.
>>
>>88130901
Netflix is the leading streaming content producer in the world. Funding the production of TV and movies that'll be on the service indefinitely is cheaper in the long run than licensing content.

Amazon has tried to catch up, but if the future is web/streaming first content, Netflix is the leader by far.
>>
>>88131124
Your not wrong. But being the leading producer isn't making them money. Amazon is diversified enough to take heavy losses in one area and still make money over all. Disney owns Hulu so that isn't going anywhere. Netflix may lead but they dont have any solid cash coming in. Every lost license costs them subs.
