Just a hunch. It'll probably be the beginning of a drought of quality cartoons that will last anywhere from three to seven years.

Enjoy whatever amount of good cartoons next year brings. It might be the last good year for cartoons you see for a short while.

The drought came with Adventure Time and all the calarts shows that proceeded it. Fuck them all.

We're finally witnessing a possible resurgence of real action cartoons thanks to Voltron, JLA and Young Justice S3.

add on top of that Miyazaki AND Takahata coming out with two of the best films of their respective careers, I don't see how you could possibly call 2013 a bad year for animation.
