From what I've seen in various previews, they are just little adventures like the Brotherhood had in season one. I wish somebody would scan this one at least. I want to see more of Eva in that outfit.

Hard question. Both his parents were huppermages but they don't seem like the typical worship-a-god-for-powers class. Rather than being born one, they seem to learn the magic at schools. Even other classes like pandawa can become huppermages.

The comics vary greatly in tone. Some are just extra little adventures from the Brotherhood of Tofu, some are about completely different characters. Those tend to have more blood in them than the main series.

Also the manga covers some adventures between the end of season 3 and the special ovas. And Tristepin and Eva straight up fuck behind everyone's back in them.

I absolutely loved it, and Tristepin is my favorite character, but I must say sometimes they went a bit overboard and gave them too much focus in comparison to every other main character. Though it's really refreshing to see a series where the main (or secondary if Yugo and Amalia ever actually go somewhere) couple get together earlier rather than late and their conflicts are actual couple conflicts and not just a shitty way too long "will they/won't they". Those always get tiresome, at least to me.

I don't remember where I read someone saying Adamai literally gets uglier every single time he changes shape for any reason and realized how true it is. And considering every dragon seems to be able to asume whatever form they like best I'm guessing he just has canon shit taste.

I don't know how easy the comics would be to read in general, but the novellas this guy >>88081930
refers to are definitely written for children so they're probably a decent place to start.

Storywise I would recommend any Wakfu comics unrelated to the Brotherhood of the Tofu. IMO the BoT's comics lack the atmosphere that makes the series fun to watch and the stories aren't that interesting. And Kerub's comic is confusing as it is if you speak the language, so I would avoid it too. The rest of the comics are more mature, have interesting protagonists and more often than not span more than 1-2 issues so you get more depth.

My definitive advice would be READ TANGOMANGO THAT SHIT IS SO GOOD.

I would have agreed if it wasn't for the entire BoT drinking Tristepin's piss.

No, it was in Les kamas de la soif. At one point the BoT take turns trying to outsing the bad guy and Tristepin starts singing some kind of chivalry song and Rubilax does the chorus.

I think Wakfu: The Series had a nice online publicity start thanks to Wakfu/Dofus: The MMOs, plus at least a segment of /co/ will hop onto almost any new cartoon and sees how it goes.

I started watching the whole series around the tail end of S2 after a couple of anons recommended it to me on a different board.

Several years and $200+ in KS rewards later, waiting excitedly for S3. I love the BoT because I think the chemistry perfectly matches that of a DnD party composed of good friends, minus the few occasions Ankama tried to force drama a la thankfully short loved, almost non-existent love triangle shit in S2

Ankama's animation team seems to really have found their groove as well, comparing the OVAs to the first half of S1. Overall, I'm excited for any new material, and I believe there's little to no chance of me being disappointed with whatever pops up in 2017.
