I dunno if anyone else has pointed this out yet but these scene almost has to be a reference to Peanuts. It could just be a coincidence but look at the arm placements and everything. Even the way Cartman says "I just don't understand it" sounds very much like something Charlie Brown would say. The sentence is even broken up and spoken in such a way that it sounds like he's mimicking Charlie Brown's voice. Just a bit of trivia from a passive Peanuts fan.

Everyone arguers when FG took a dive but I feel it wasn't till the second half of season 10 that it took a serious dive in quality and was just shit over all.
That said, South Park Season 20 is making me feel the same way I did with FG's season 10, that this marks the end of quality for them.

I think half of it is a lot of season 19 actually worked quite well, and it certainly got good press. The other half is laziness and complacency that lead to a complete lack of self-awareness about forgetting to be funny

Hey, 19 was all around great. It was consistently funny in just about every episode, even with the finale being kind of a disappointment it still had some funny and memorable moments.

Honestly season 19 is probably one of my favorites. While 20 is on my list of least favorite seasons. They're worlds apart in terms of quality.

I'd say the funniest part of season 19 was Tweek x Craig. Not because of the episode itself, but the backlash from DeviantART shippers who were offended by Trey and Matt's acknowledgement of how fucking creepy some of the fanart is. Right down to the excessively homosexual and anime-style romance pictures.

I hope they dont take this as a sign to get rid of PC Principle. He was the best new character they've added in years.

What made season 19 work so well was just how they were able to tell a consistent story arch while still making the episodes themselves stand-alone and capable of tackling different subjects.

Somwhere along the path from 19 to 20 they took it as a sign that they should just reiterate on one or two themes for the whole damn season in addition to recycling the same jokes under the idea that it was the same as a callback to those jokes, when they totally arent, it's straight up rehashing them.
