probably mostly his distinct look, his being relevant during an important time, and the fact that there's a lot of material to work with in general regardless of the intended audience (you can make a joke about his tallness or his hat for children or his assassination for adults, compared to like what, joking about banks with andrew jackson? just as an example)

A lot of last names were originally from family business, so names like Gold-whatever or Silver-whatever means they came from a family that had a history of working with gold, silver, and/or other precious metals or money
