One unironic answer. It's pretty similar to "We Need To Talk," actually.
While the show still has more than its fair share of "true love conquers all," it does talk about how relationships require work to keep them afloat rather than just working because love says so. I honestly do think that it's a good message or lesson or what have you for a show to have.
