The future story introduced the bacteria. Parliament of stories was how he ended the big grande finale and was their introduction.

They used to do "quarterlies" quite often actually. Marvel had these "Unlimited" issues that were 4 times per year and DC had like Superman The Man of Tomorrow, which was an "ongoing" that worked the same way.

Its quoted from the first issue of the new run, basically Clark lamenting the fact that he can't bring his doppelganger back to life. It could be foreshadowing, but it could also refer to how Clark still doesn't himself as part of this Earth. As in, with the shadow of the previous Superman in his mind affirming that.

Did you read the issue? It had nothing to do with Rebirth. Swampy was concerned because Superman atracts more sun. Because he's from other universe. We already knew that. Superman THINKS Swamp Thing is going to help him understand what Oz told him, but that doesn't actually happen. So nothing happens in the issue and no information is added.
