Thats what I think most forget. Flashpoint changed the future into a new timeline because old Eobard exists again. It wasn't Barry that did it. It was Eobard saving Barry that did it. Jay's speech about changing the past causes a fracture isn't actually true because in order to change the past Barry didnt stop himself from stopping Thawne, Thawne did. Old Thawne running loose changed the future, which Thawne coyly remarks that things are back to normal for him but not for Barry.

I want to enjoy it because I have a massive hard on for anything with super speed, but I just hate the cast so god damn much. Everyone is boring as fuck aside from Wells, and even Wells was boring in 80% of season 1 scenes where he was pretending to be a moralfag.

In fact every single fucking character feels like the same person with a very minor twist.

Barry's selfish and irresponsible, Caitlin is using her Killer Frost persona to live out her darkest fantasies, Cisco's default is apparently "dick" in every universe. Joe's a cop and Barry's moral center, so of course he's a "moralfag". I don't even think we've seen enough of Iris or Eddie on their own to make a judgment.

Wells and Hunter were both huge conmen trying to win over the do-gooder superhero main character so they can use/destroy him. I mean, I just don't see your point.
