With how triumphant the lyrics to that song are, it's kinda pathetic how Squidward just goes back to living his shitty, mundane life after he played raddest show the Bubble Bowl's ever seen.

It's hard to hate Squidward when you realize he's basically just an artist who can't escape his working-class life.

But he does suck at the clarinet, and painting, and basically everything else he tries to do. So I guess it's kind of his own fault in the end.

Remember: Nobody wants to be a Squidward.
