Here's how to actually get people into the show: link them the soundtrack, tell them to watch Giant Woman, and then to watch from the beginning if they're still interested. Say what you will about the pacing but you don't just skip episodes, in any show, especially not one that makes constant use of minor foreshadowing, slow buildups and where for the most part there's no consensus over which are the bad episodes.

Not...quite. I think I understand how Zuke feels pretty well and it's kind of complicated. It's something I feel all the time and it took many years to come to terms with the fact that I was in the wrong.

She's angry because she joined SU because she thought it was a show where she would be creatively free to do what she wanted and to express her own healing the way she wanted to express it. This was a fundamental mistake on her part. Steven Universe is Sugar's show. Sugar planned it all from the beginning. It's all about Sugar's personal journey of healing. Zuke had a fundamental misunderstanding of the power dynamic at the studio and essentially got angry at Sugar for not delivering on a promise she never made.

If Zuke didn't want to work under a "narcissist" she shouldn't have joined a show that was entirely created for Sugar to express her own personal values and journey. Being a narcissistic work is the point of the show (and that's not a bad thing! It's a means of coping and personal artistic expression for Sugar, which is not inherently bad), and it's on Zuke for not seeing that and believing the situation to be different than ti was.
