Can we agree that this was the best capekino of the year?

Yeah? what then, faggot?

Nah. It was cute. Entertaining, at the least. But I'd put Civil War or Dr. Strange was the best of the year.

Fox always makes the best kinos (X-Men: First Class in 2011, X-Men: Days of Future Past in 2014, and now Deadpool in 2016).
Look for Logan to be another kino from this based studio in 2017.
If I have to rank them:
Deadpool > Doctor Strange > Civil War > X-Men Apocalypse > Suicide Squad > Ninja Turtles 2 > BvS

Civil War is the best cape flick this year, and I say that even though I subjectively liked Doctor Strange more. Apocalypse is even comparable to Deadpool, both FOX movies are riddled with flaws but Deadpool gets away with them because it's self conscious about it (which doesn't make them actually go away).
Deadpool was a "good" movie, it accomplished what it set out to do, had a touch to it that communicated the team behind it genuinely cared about it, and did it all with a budget that Marvel Studios simply can't do with anymore. It was better than the DCEU installments. But that's not saying much.
I think this is the only live action cape film i've watched since Iron Man 2 on tv tbqh
It wasn't that bad besides some of the lol random jokes

For me even The Wolverine was the best capefilm of 2013, granted it's only competition was Iron Man 3, Thor 2: What are we even doing and Man of Steel.
It's kinda like beating a child in an arm wrestle but still a victory

Civil War is the best, but Deadpool deserves a goddamn honorable mention for taking such hard work into making it possible - also god tier marketing.
The fact that Deadpool DVD's are out selling a movie with Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman should tell something.

I liked Civil War, but i enjoyed Deadpool more. Civil War comes in a close second.
