To be fair, they don't air holiday specials of any of their shows anymore unless it's a brand new episode. Like, where the fuck was Ed, Edd n Eddy's Boo Haw Haw during Halloween? Or Billy & Mandy's Jacked-Up Halloween? And they haven't aired the Powerpuff Girls Christmas special in years either.

The Regular Show Thanksgiving special, while hilarious, does blatantly mock Donald Trump and position him as a villain. Even if CN wasn't screwing over Regular Show already, I can see how it might be risky to air it now.

Ok, I've given you shit in the past for how much you whine about Regular Show and how it's allegedly getting "screwed over" for getting to air its entire final season every day. Bitching about the time slot is dumb, bitching about a lack of promotion is dumb, but flat out refusing to air a new special just so they can show old movies and TT:Go is definitely a fair point. I've made posts about its treatment before and gotten replies from you like this, I've seen other people do it too and get this same sort of reply. It's not just me, but I guess I might be considered the main person doing it even though I'm about even with the amount of other posts on the topic that I'm not behind.

I agree this is different, I'm a little disappointed it's not rerunning today, but it's fine because literally no other show is either, it's just movies. If it was every other show EXCEPT Regular Show, I would've commented on it. I feel bad for any of the crew members like Toby who had the annual mindset, but I'd only join in on the disappointment if, again, it was being left out from other shows airing. It's all movies today, which is fine I guess.

I personally wish the show would get decent reruns for once in over a year because it's about to end. Instead, TTG which is probably never going to end, is going to get a 3 day marathon for no single occasion. That's a different topic though.

My point, this one isn't me.

Pretty sure it's going to be a mostly negative episode and then they come up with a way to make it all right. In the promo Pops' typewriter is smashed, their Christmas tree is full of bats, and at some point they get surrounded by snow monsters.

It's wishful thinking to hope they take the Dome to Earth to visit everyone. They get nice and cozy, then at some point Earl tells the guys they can't stay so they say goodbye and leave.

I can't see a Christmas episode not focusing on family and friends. Like you said, it's just a holiday thing. There's at least got to be a mention of it.

I just wish they would discuss it on any other time, because it's not an issue today, no show aired except TTG clips during credits of the movies, but any other day? Yea it's fair game for any show to air, and RS (and AT) get the short end of it all.

Something feels really uncomfortable about them making Pops a fighter. I get he needs to battle to save everyone, but first off, in this new character decision, he's "the embodiment of pure good". That means he wouldn't fight at all. Then shown later he's viewing his past battle with Anti-Pops saying "Stop fighting!!".

Now Earl trains him and he's suddenly mind fucked, he's like a brainwashed soldier. It's like he's not thinking straight anymore.

04-06, were, Imo, some of CN's best years. Toonami on Saturdays (discounting DICE and Wulin Warriors), Miguzi, Adult Swim, The Graveyard Shift, Fridays, the 10:00 hour, Uncut DBZ, JLU, Teen Titans, Megas XLR, IGPX, (some) Static Shock, Ozzy and Drix, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, Class of 3000 the City-era bumps, and cartoons that were actually funny (Grim Adventures). PLUS we had reruns of shows from the '90s still on (Dexter, Johnny Bravo, PPG).

It's a god awfully written show.

The only legitimate thing CN has "screwed" RS on is the same thing every other show has been screwed on, which is a lack of reruns. But the damn thing's been on almost every day for five years, not including this one. It's not like WBB or Clarence, who sometimes only get a 6am slot. Even alleged darling SU has seen a drop. RS is one of the few shows to have some semblance of a regular schedule, even in this final season.
