He was scanned by a Kryptonian Fortress and popped up as human, no powers. Unless they are going to add a new power that he can fool them - plus he had a broken arm. He could'a faked an injury that but it's kinda hard to fake a broken bone, and I forget whether Lex or Superdad but one of them x-rayed (or in Lex's case, scanned him) and said, you're arms broken, or you suffered a broken bone or some such.

I mean he's helped and saved the most grounded versions of Darkseid before, I think he even healed darkseid after he was mauled by doomsday, but ultimately Darkseid is the one individual superman should not save and should feel justified to kill, since's he's more of a concept than a living being. Saving Darkseid would be like saving slavery itself.
