The idea was that there are humans who live inside the cars in some kind of symbiosis with them. I was also 8 but even then I knew Cars was fucking retarded. Kids like you were the worst because your shitty Disney toys didn't even fit on most other toy car tracks since they were made bigger for toddlers who try to chew up and drool on toys. They literally had to make bigger, pricer playsets for the Cars toys to fit on and most daycares were too poor to even bother buying anything new so Carsfags would have to "share" playsets that you would damage because your toys weren't meant for a tinier track.

Even worse, most of you were too retarded to think of using building blocks to make your own track which was what other Hot Wheels kids did when y'all were still trying to squeeze your Cars into our tracks.

Also, the reason why people didn't play with Ratatouille toys was because that was more of a kitchen-related movie and most cooking toys were aimed at girls.

Wish we had This Jeremy in Cars

The whole ending to the first movie is still one of my favorites over most other movie endings. It was sort of cliche to have him stop and push King to the finish line but I really thought it was one the few heartwarming scenes that wasn't tacky from Pixar. Not to mention the good credits, especially the second half with the movie parodies.

The movie wasn't even heavy on the racing for the most part, and somehow that still feels like a major problem for Cars 2 even though I think it had more in it.

The only Cars cars I played with were the small metal ones. I KNEW better than to try and fit other cars onto playsets where they don't belong, I was pretty specific about certain toys in general.
I had the money to get the specific playsets for these specific things. Hell I bet you dont remember when that shitty speed racer movie cane out. I made sure to play with the hot wheels speed racer toys despite how shitty the movie was. And I took care of those goddamn things. Only things id "play" with with fellow children was action figures, yugioh/pokemon cards, and ds games. Whenever i played hot wheels it was only with my brother, and i made sure he gollowed soeviguc rules to orevrbt ANY of my cars from beung chipped. By that time I had grown out of cars anyway.

Like >>87846977 said; they have had the main character of the Planes movies quit his racing career because of a busted gearbox, as well as having the main character and several of his friends crash badly (or get shot down by the Japanese navy), so this all seems familiar to me.

But since I am a huge loser, every crash in those movies really got to me because of how sudden and violent they were compared to the rest of it all. In fact; the different characters crashes are the reasons I can't make myself dislike the Planes movies. So I'm probably going to enjoy it happening this time as well.

And the new visuals look nice. I hope the style and palette aren't just a gritty trailer thing but close to the actual direction they are taking, minus the bloom.
