How about there's a boy who is staying with his uncle and girl cousin. Could be during the summer or could be so he's living closer to a private academy he's going to, I don't know. Uncle owns a thrift clothes store. His cousin pranks him by taking his towel while he's in the shower and only leaves a frilly dress she found in the shop. When he comes out in the dress she expects to take an embarrassing picture of her cousin in a dress but instead his body turns into that of the pretty girl the dress belonged to. They find an amulet in a secret pocket in the dress. When the main character wears the amulet his body can take the form of whose ever clothes he wears. Hence the thrift store setting.

It's a cool power but the problem is that his default body became that of the the girl who owned the dress the amulet came with. So when he wears his own clothes or he isn't wearing the amulet his body is that of the girl's. Also the amulet's power only works for him.

The concept would be used in shenanigan filled situations but the main plot would be using his powers to find out who the mystery girl is or was to try and get his original body back.
