UPDATE:

I just talked to a friend. Apparently, it's theorized that the series will contain more adventure, drama, songs, and possibly even LGBT themes than the original show. It will also deconstruct the premise of kids being able to imagine life out of thin air.

Not entirely sure how true this is. We may have to wait and see.

Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends was a good show but it's not good enough to reboot.

My cousin's wife's uncle works at CN, too. He told me in secret that they're planning on making a Top Cat reboot to premiere in 2019. They're considering H. Jon Benjamin for the role of Top Cat. The series will deal with themes of homelessness and racial bias in law enforcement.

This show was never that good. At best it was watchable.
