loved Aeon Flux, loved how inconsistent it was and how she died in nearly every episode. Particular fav was when she downed in that underwater fortress. Also when She and Trevor fell asleep in a cryo container and woke up thousands of years in the future where the planet was basically filled with weird Amebas and robots.

Full of weird esoteric symbolism for it's own sake and heavily interpretable rambling plot sequences that simply become more mystifying as they unfold.
lots of intentionally eroticized shots of feet and mouths, full dialog, episodes are still essentially stand-alone.

I still need to check out Aeon Flux, I love when cartoons have a really distinct style. The Maxx remains my favorite cartoon at this point.

I liked the Liquid Television reboot, especially Disco Destroyer. Too bad it didn't really seem to take.

I do recall somebody on the staff being interviewed about a sex scene. Not sure if its same one or full on pent but it was showing the transfer of semen from inside the body perspective as the two got it on through a fence.

Can't believe none of the originals of this show exist. Did it have a bunch of music they'd have to pay royalties on or something?

I could never get into Aeon Flux for some reason. Maybe it's bad memories of that Reign series, but it just could never click for me. The Maxx, on the other hand, was pretty sweet. Kind of makes me want to check out the comics in spite of the drop in material.

Both tend to air on MTV Classic; in fact, they both got marathons within the past week.

There is a torrent with VHS rips from someone who recorded it back in the day. The quality is as bad as you'd expect but it's the only way to watch it all now.
