I give it a 7.5/10.

There were a lot of episodes I did not like...some of which I did not like a fucking lot, such as Broke His Crown...but there were some eps which were wonderful and that I recommend to everyone. Imo, 5 best ones:

Crossover deserves special mention too I think. The season started off very strong imo...and petered out in the end. Here's to hoping 8 is better.

I don't know how to rank seasons using numbers but your mark seems pretty fitting for me too. Liked season 7, had a better proportion of good episodes to shitty and mediocre ones than season 6 did I feel, and that's all I could have asked from it. Stakes had problems but was mostly cool.

i don't know about anyone else but this episode really instilled me with hope for the show. there's a lot of potential here. what does the underground human haven look like? is that where martin is from? what's the goal with turning all of these animal species into hybrids? why is finn wanted in the human haven? is jake dead?

jake's probably not dead, but they should at least keep him out of commission for ~10 episodes or so.

I liked the Jake suit making a return, was a cool fight sequence.

Pretty annoying though that the show took a 5 month hiatus, aired a finale that was basically brand new storyline which ended with the classic mid-scene cutoff, and is now on hiatus again until Season 8 airs.

Loved Dr. Gross. The way they animated her movement with her augs all extended was rad. Tiffany as her assistant was also great, had all the best lines.

Also I thought the fight scene with Susan did some cool stuff with the action considering the limitations of the artstyle. Liked it when Finn was pulled up to the top of giant Jake and Jake retracted into Jakesuit Finn which used the height to get a good elbow in. Pluss all the wrestling throws in the ensuing fight.

I think trying to determine whether or not something like this is build-up to a future plot is pretty pointless since the show isn't extensively planned out. CN can't blame the fans. They can only blame themselves, for never airing reruns, not talking about the ep, not advertising it AT ALL, and randomly changing the air time last minute so the very few people who knew tuned in too late. I know tons of people who think the show is friggin over already. The only people who were actually able to even hear about the existence of this episode were people who use the Internet often. And all of the people who use the Internet often watch AT online, not on the TV, thus giving the show no ratings.
