>>87782944
Why the fuck would you do that? Even if you wanted to read it just watch linkara's video. Might as well get a few laughs out of that vomitus
>>87782944
You don't have the balls to do it

Do it you fuck!

>>87783363
>Tune your ear to the frequency of despair, and cross-reference by the longitude and latitude of a heart in agony
lmao
>>87783524
Such vacuous shit
>>87783524
Hahaha the drama
>>87783524
Whoever came up with that shit should do right for once in their lives and kill themselves.
>>87783363
>Stopped on the first page
You're a wise man, anon.
>>87783524
I honestly think JMS knew what a train wreck this was gonna be, so he deliberately fucked up the dialogue
>>87783363
Was OMD not even 10 years after Aunt May's first death?
>>87786685
Who's that on the far right? Cyclops?
Who's that on the far left? Bruce Banner?
And lastly, were any of these guys really unable to help him?
>>87786538
Issue 400 was in 1994 I think.
Anyhoo, friendly reminder this is out now
>>87782944
This whole OneMoreDay thing didn't make any sense, Aunt May's life or no, until I finally read House-of-M and saw how in it Pete learns that Mary-Jane's life rocks when she's never met him.
>>87786736
None of them could save May from her bullet wound
>>87786751
Jesus Christ how horrifying
Isn't Peter ignoring the whole "with great power comes great responsibility" mantra by trying to abuse his connections with gods to save the life of someone who has a foot in the grave? Does he not realize that his aunt would never want him to do these things?
>>87786777
That's because that was Peter's desire at the time that Wanda simply made reality for him, Peter is guilt central
>>87786822
>Pete sold this to satan
Unbelievable.
>>87786811
Actually...
Cyclops dropped the ball on that one.
He could have phoned up Magneto or his crazy green-haired daughter Polaris to yank the bullet out and have one of half a dozen mutant healers work their hippie mutant magic on her.
Easy-peasy.
Freindlier reminder this is today's edition of the daily strip. OMD really did'nt make a dent in the marriage. Nine years later and between this and RYV, I'd say it's at full strength again.
>>87786844
Well the Socerer Supreme couldn't do it, what makes ya think a bunch of inhuman bastards could do it?
>>87786862
Abandoned plot thread incoming
>>87786839
That's actually the main misreading of this stupid story:
The deal was never for his soul.
The deal was that Pete's marriage never happened, rewritten timeline-wise.
That was all.
>>87786876
Peter and MJ are soul mates, their love is part of their souls. Ergo, they did
>>87786861
That's riiiight...
Keep blaming the Inhumans...
Just as Cyclops planned...
>>87786876
So I'm just wondering what's canon to Peter since everything with the marriage is out the window now
>>87786892
They're vauge as all hell about that, Quesada reckoned the pregnancy was non-canon but everything else remained in continuity
>>87786902
So there's still hope for Mayday and Annie?
>>87786903
"knowing what's to come..."
Dead No More and Parker being responsible for a multi-verse wide zombie epidemic
>>87786913
Brevoort disagrees with Quesada's idea MJ refused to have kids with Peter, and they've already backpeddled on Joe's idea that not even Mephisto remembers OMD because he taunts Peter about it in Spidey/Deadpool
>>87786892
They kept most of Pete's "civilian" life separate from his superheroing so basically there was never any change to the costumed crimefighting history.
Personal-life wise, they moved Pete back in with Aunt May and brought back his entire cast of potential dates.
I stopped reading in disgust right then. Didn't pick it up again until Spock.
>>87786916
>Your marriage with the chill supermodel or aunt may living another few years
For a super genius Peter's fucking retarded
wait....i dont get it. Auntie is like...old and shit right? Just let it go senpai.
>>87786935
Don't even pick it up WITH Spock
Superior is overrated ass
>>87786950
But how else were they supposed to make Peter sell his marriage to the devil so they can make him go back to living with aunt may and living a shitty bachelor life
>>87786963
Its fucking ridiculous. who the fuck trades their own life of joy and happiness for a few more crusty years for some old lonely widow who surely who like the rest on some level?
Fuck
>>87786978
The original Mr. Bad Decisions. That's who.
>>87786978
Wouldn't it make a bit more sense if MJ was the one shot? So Peter ends up selling his love/marriage so she could live and enjoy without him fucking it up for her? I think it'd make look not as childish
>>87787028
So what will be revealed first what Fury told Odinson or what MJ told Mephisto?
>>87787057
And now I know why /co/ gets triggered by this line.
>>87787049
Just yesterday I was thinking about the old Marvel trading cards I had as a kid:
They had a whole subgroup of "collectable"cards devoted to "Marvel mysteries"...
Wolverine's origin...
The third Summers brother...
Who is the true Hobgoblin...
Nighthawk's face...
(not all of them were winners)
Marvel dragged some of those out for decades.
>>87787091
Beginning of the end?
>>87787097
OMD has been out for almost a decade, so that means we'll find out soon right?
>>87787125
Oh...
Oh, you poor poor sweet innocent newb...
>>87786856
>posting images during a storytime
Shiggy diggy
>>87787138
I just want Peter to have a daughteru
>>87787151
if there,s a hell i want joe quesadilla in it,I SWEAR.
>>87787148
Good
God I've been reading the post One More day stuff to see if it holds up, and well I don't know how but it doesn't. But man do I remember the memories.
>Marc Guggenheim saying he would do something that never happened to Spider-man wanted by the police!
>The ambiguous cannon that is confusing as hell, somehow kept Gwen sleeping with Norman
>The new love interests all failures in one way or another, oh Michelle, and Carlie.
> the uproar over the implied date rape by the chameleon.
>Peter getting drunk off the bubbles.
>Those fucking damn MJ teases.
>The Spider-man brain trust saying this is definitive like Spider-man has a formula.
God that era sucked ass I hate how some people praise this ere it has some good things but my god it does not work.
>>87787184
Why's everyone always blaming Quesada for this? Call me a noob, but the credits on all of these say he's the penciller and the story was written by Straczynski?
Pls someone explain.
>>87792925
It was mandated by Quesada. Straczynski was so unhappy about it, he originally didn't want his name on the books, but he later decided that was disrespectful and a poor career move.
>>87792987
Ah, so he just hid behind a pencil and thought noone will notice? WTF I hate him now.
Poor straczynski.
>>87792925
in Straczynski version said he wanted to bring back gwen too and sins pasts never happened.
>>87791825
Damn I had the opposite reaction? I hated BND when it came out but as a separate entity it wasn't that bad.
It was a fun call back to old college days Spidey. Which Kinda irked me because Peter Parker was no longer a college age kid, he was just a loser almost hitting a midlife crisis moment.
Which I guess is what Marvel wanted all along?
Some parts were fucking stupid though. The shitty call backs to married Peter as well as the OMD deal. OMIT was a trainwreck attempt of damage control and the whole memory wipe bullshit. Peter couldn't go a second without mentioning that.
Also Norman losing Peters secret identity was fucking retarded.
>>87793387
Some stories were good here and there.....but I thought the overall product lacked direction and some of teases are just annoying in hindsight, remember Jackpot?
I never read Civil War so I'm a little lost on the details, but this seems really stupid.
Why doesn't Peter just turn himself in to the Authorities in Return for Stark's Aid?
If Jarvis just paying the bill won't keep her from dying why even bother with that part of the story? Just have the Comic start with "Nothing in medical science can stop her from dying" and skip the first part entirely.
Isn't Dr. Strange one of the most accomplished surgeons on the planet? Why can't he act as a consultant?
Are you seriously Telling me that Dr. Doom and Black Panther don't have the resources to heal a bullet wound? I get that she's old, but isn't Wakanda a hyper advanced civilization?
>>87786685
Is that Batman? Top left next to the cluster fuck of spidermen?
>>87786751
Ok. Fuck this, I quit.
>>87786751
Does she have down syndrome?
When the fuck is May going to die already? She's old as fuck.
>>87787018
Quality
>>87793732
Don't think too hard about it. OMD doesn't make any sense no matter how you try to spin it
>>87787059
>>87787062
I wonder if he ever fucks his Aunt May when he gets too lonely. He might as well get something out of this deal right?
>>87793732
>Is that Batman? Top left next to the cluster fuck of spidermen?
Pym.
Is this before or after Secret Invasion?
>>87787126
Every time I think MJ has one long arm. Every time.
Let's assume that Marvel didn't care about how the story is, as long as it gets rid of the marriage by a deal with Mephisto. Here's how I would have done it
>both MJ and Aunt May are hit during the attack
>May dies
>MJ is alive, but in coma and is not out of danger, she will die soon because of the wounds
>Peter wants to do something to save her, but he is still wanted by the police and filled with guilt for the death of aunt May
>Peter talks with Dr Strange, who tells him that there is nothing medicine can do, while magic may be able to help, but the cost would be big because MJ is too close to death
>Strange promise to search for a solution, but in the meantime MJ conditions get worse
>Peter's despair reach its peak and call both God and the Devil for help
>Mephisto appears and offer him a deal
>MJ will be saved and people will forget that Peter Parker is Spider-man, in exchange Peter has to sell his marriage and all the memories of it will be erased
>Peter, who is not thinking straight and just want to save his wife, accepts the deal
>some emotional pages about their love
>the next day Peter wakes up alone and goes to May's funeral
>there he sees MJ but they no longer remember they were married
>after the funeral Peter sees some police cars chasing some criminals
>final page is Spider-man swinging though buildings to join the chase
It's still not good, but it gets the job done faster, push the narrative forward thanks to May's death and avoid the bullshit about Peter asking for help to everyone in the Marvel Universe.
