They made a 550-page webcomic "in preparation" for this one and have a 3-year degree from graphic design / illustration, so I guess it's just the insanely fast drawing skills one develops after having practiced drawing professionally for a full 9-5 work day erryday for the past 4-5 years.

Also I think they did a kickstarter or smth for the book version of the comic, which pre-sold quite nicely, essentially netting them an amount of money corresponding to a couple of year's decent pay even with the printing and shipping costs reduced - so it's literally their day job now, and they have a high work ethic.

Still, a single person doing the story, lines, inks, colours, lettering, everything - putting out a page per day is a crazy fast pace. It's just knowing what you do and working hard.

But yea SSSS is a nice comic. A bit slow-paced, so if someone's thinking it'll be full of gritty grimdarkness and fast action just because it's got zombies in a post-apocalyptic setting, they might get disappointed - it's more a slice of life story about friendship, just in a tank with occasional skirmishes. But I like it

And most likely, in the end Marco would get with Star anyway. Again, Ranma was really shameless about running around as a girl in sexy skimpy outfits, working his curves and flirting outrageously with men in order to get treats or an edge, but this was handwaved away with "haha he likes free dessert treats haha" and he still married Akane in the end and was romantically interested in women throughout the series. No-one was crying about transsexuals or their representation, things just were as they were, it was fun.

But having serious discussions about what, exactly, is going on would ruin it and move it to some serious gender identity discourse level, and I don't think Star vs. is a show like that.

Hey guys. I just wanted to give an update for anyone who's interested in what I'm up to.

First I want to apologize to some of the requesters who I said I was going to do stuff for them. I've scrapped the sleep over drawing because I'm totally unsatisfied with it. I think there is a shitty WIP on Booru.

Pic related is the line art for the Hotline Echo Creek that anon asked for. I really want this one to be good so coloring it is going to take a while. I'm still learning how to digital color so I'm pretty critical of myself.

I worked on the Manna animation a little this morning and found myself making numerous changes to keyframes. I have to redo Marco's legs. they're not working at all. I'M NEVER going to bitch about how long ZONE takes again. this shit is hard.

Right now, I'm open to requests(sorry I'm not doing lewds right now.). They're going to be sketches though and will not be colored. At least not by myself.(shout out to the awesome dude who colored my princess buscemi drawing. it was really well done.)
