GL was always my favorite hero for reasons, but I never did read anything of him because I never knew where to start. Is there a recommended list or something?

1.No. I mean the action was nice and all but nothing about that story made Hal particularly likeable. In fact, him trying to play cosmic therapist to Bruce just annoyed me.
2. Hal the playa will never be interesting.

4. No, I actually hated that. I hate how every time a ring slips on him and forces him to reveal deep dark part of his soul it always ends up being something comically shallow.
5. Yeah, that was pretty damn cool.
6. No. He only comes off good there in comparison to the rest of the corps who've had retard pills slipped into their water supply by the Guardians for years.

To be fair, Hal did have cool moments in the beginning of the series, the first 15 or so issues, where he could actually think and use his ring creatively. Stuff which, while not really endearing, made me feel hopeful about the character. Once SCW started what little characterization he had just evaporated and he was reduced to a one dimensional retard who saved the universe multiple times but had no idea how to use his goddamn power.
