This. That shit doesn't even make sense. Black Bolt created the cloud without telling anyone else. The rest of the inhumans claimed to have no way of stopping it and basically doing damage control by giving the newly turned inhumans offers of training and a place in New Atillan.

Moreover, even though terrigen is sacred to the inhumans, they always went through a whole process to decide whether someone should go through terrigenesis in the first place. Arbitrarily forcing people to go into terrigenesis without preparing them or making sure it's safe isn't their way.

The X-Men showing up and getting rid of the cloud would be doing the Inhumans a favor. Literally no part of this plot makes sense. This is actually worse than a book written by Bendis.

She was a MarySue from the start. Not only are her powers so poorly defined that they're unstoppable, but she's somehow a master theif even though she was taught by a retard who couldn't steal his way out if a sub-Saharan African hellhole. Think about it.

She's also a master of hand to hand fighting even though you never see her training. Don't get me wrong, I think that a woman *can* (probably) beat a trained man in a fight if she trains non-stop mma style. Storm just wins because she wins. She has all these amazing skills but never works on any of them. That's completely bullshit.

Listen, I've only gotten so much reading done over the decades but I do know for a while in the X-Men books the story was about Rachel being afraid of "coming out" to Scott.
Then when Jean came back it became a double problem.
When her identity was revealed both rejected the whole premise of alt-universe future children.
(remember that Rachel was the first of these)
Then over time the trouble eased.
By the time of the "Redd" and "Slym" timetravel honeymoon in the future to parent Nathan, Rachel was accepted as just another product of this bizarre Summers family dynamic.
There may have been a couple of eXcelsior issues that covered this, and I did see an annual with Jean and Rachel bonding on the psychic plane, loooong ago...
But for the most part: Fucked up situation. Scott's emotionally repressed and guarded. Jean's got her own issues. Rachel's kinda too messed up for a happy family thing anyway.
