Scar comes off as a lot more stupid here, the way he just suddenly volunteers the information that he killed Mufasa. Like, he just blurts it out because he gets annoyed Simba said "Mufasa was a good king." In the version we got it feels like he's only gloating a because he's 100% certain Simba's right about to die anyway, but here he sics the hyenas on Simba after admitting his crime, which seems like a less reliable method.

Scar pleading for Simba to have mercy only to turn around and try to murder him is fine here, though.

Around 2003 or 04 i was exploring the web and found all sorts of things. Since this was early, it was when everyone and their mother had their own website.
I somehow found the website of some girl who had drawn herself as a white lion in the style of TLK. It looked decent which was above average in terms of internet standards and learning and sharing wasn't as wide spread and deviantart hadn't taken off yet.
With titles like "me as a lion", and "me as a lion looking fearsome" all i could think it was a narcissistic person doing it. Why would you draw yourself all the time? Why a lion? Is this some wishfulfillment?

It's a thirthy-six book series of four clans of feral Cats that obey this thing called the Warrior Code as they go through cycles of banding together to fight other foes, and constant allying fighting against each other. The main characters usually are from once clan, called ThunderClan (basically the Gryffindors of the series). The first arc stars once Cat that starts out as a house cat and grows into the leader of his tribe, with future protagonists being his friends, children, nephews, grandchildren, and his mortal enemy's children and grandchildren. Much of the conflict stems from their adherence their code being prohibitive, and attempting to reconcile their way of life with doing what is necessary to survive, such as accepting help from outsiders, accepting mixed-race children, and when certain cats get chosen by their ancestors to have various destinies.

Like the Lion King, its fandom is the typical autism that appears when animals get into kinda-darkish plots, where their is an easy, canonical way to insert new characters with regularity (good for inserting your OC, complete with a naming shcema that applies to everyone), and the series gets more magic-y as it progresses.
