Also fuck yes OP it's fun as hell and for its time it's incredible. Probably the most influential comic strip ever
>>87736179
For historical reasons? Yes, it's a very influential comic that influenced everyone from Charles M Schulz, Bill Watterson and basically every single newspaper artist ever.
For pleasure? No. I just can't make it past a few strips. I've read all sorts of comics from Orphan Annie, Pogo Possum, Dick Tracy early Blondie, Little Nemo and by far Krazy Kat was the most difficult to read. IMO, reading one or 2 a day is fine but trying to read a bunch at once is utterly boring.

This
It's the Velvet Underground of comics, a comic you read only because good artists enjoy it and you want to see what the big deal is.
>>87736179
Read one or two strips, they're all the same.

Ok, pleb
>>87736179
Daily reminder that Kat's gender was never confirmed as neither female or male.
Kat was simply Kat.

Which are you pissed at, me dissing VU or me dissing Krazy Kat?
>>87740307
You are a pleb in two mediums. It must be like being ambidextrous with terrible fmotor skills
>>87736179
YES.
>>87740498
If you can describe to me what is good about Velvet Underground and Krazy Kat without saying a single word about the influence they had then I will agree that I'm a pleb.
>>87740246
Yeah, whatever -- I always read Krazy's line in either Betty Boop's or Harley Quinn's voice.
>>87740640
And Gilbert Gottfried for Ignatz.

Kat was definitely a girl in the cartoon.
