Skywarp doesn't seem very friendly at the moment, he's probably just willing to work with the humans on the basis of receiving energon daily and no where else to go but character development dictates he'll grown fond of them.

I don't man. He seems pretty loyal to the Decepticons so as long as you aren't disrespecting him or traitorous. I mean, look at how far he went for Galvatron and Soundwave? He nearly sacrificed himself for them and it was a total waste. But yeah, he doesn't seem to care about humans at the moment and I figured the Joe's would be capable since they spent so much of their books figuring out teleportation. I don't want to make assumptions but I think the Joe's are probably more understanding of how teleportation works than Skywarp himself (I mean he's kind of an idiot).

I think some of that childishness became obvious to me once I saw TC and Marissa interact, especially when he wasn't on speaking terms with her and wanted to use Ayana to relay his messages to her while Marissa was in front of him.

Marissa and Ayana didn't go along with it.

Still TC is wise and knows a lot of shit but yeah he can be immature although I also get the feeling he loves teasing Marissa (the phone call in Transformers Revolution).

Skywarp is going to be more difficult to interact with since he doesn't have TC's passiveness and him knowing he is valuable to these humans is going to inflate his ego (even if he secretly is glad someone cares about him).

Joe book in the wake of the 2016 presidential election. For a while, I considered kind of…shifting the focus. Maybe trying to use G.I. Joe to explore the current political landscape? Should there be a nationalist, xenophobic Cobra Commander? I quickly thought better of it though.

I’ve had enough of serious, complex, real-world issues being filtered, dumbed down and normalized through genre fiction, and it’s something that’s been done to death with G.I. Joe. Genre fiction can and should be used to explore big issues, but it’s best done at the abstract and thematic level, not at the specific and nitty-gritty. That long thought process actually left me more excited about the crown jewel of the Hasbro Universe than ever, because G.I. Joe, in leaning into what’s best about the concept, it’s going to be the aspirational, hopeful, fun action adventure book that we all need right now. It’s pure, cathartic escapism.
Something that Marvel should take note of, I think.

Thundercracker has always been empathetic though considering how he's always put effort into protecting other lifeforms from the Decepticons while he was under them. The dude even openly questioned Megatron during AHM on this and then later defected.

Skywarp on the other hand has never been fond of organics. TC and Skywarp are killing it. Having become ruler of Cybertron was both the coolest but worst thing for Starscreams character, he no longer does much other than threaten Windblade.

Well TC has his dog for love and he has made friends with Marissa and Ayana (and I guess at this point some of the Autobots must like him too). But he is having a good time, probably the best of his long lived life so he hit the jackpot.

Skywarp is just starting the Joe thing, we'll see how that goes, but I am sure at some point they'll warm up to him and he'll warm up to them.

Pretty sure once Starscream gets booted off as the ruler of Cybertrom he'll look for TC and Warp and try to bring the old gang again to start shit but the other two will already have their own established comfy lives on Earth and they will tell him to beat it.

It's funny all of the seekers seeked something out and got it (or will get it in Skywarps case, because he will definitely warm up to the Joes). Starscream's main problem is that power shouldn't be the end goal, but something to help you with your real goals. What's his real goal? Admiration and respect?
