For starters, the resolution isn't "go back in time and prevent it from ever happening".
>>
>>87708389
But why else would you time travel?
>>
>>87708048

several times

>>87708389
if you mean in comics, this is rarely ever a solution. doing that just creates another timeline where it didnt happen but your own remains unchanged

What happened in Uncanny 600? I dropped Bendis' X-books 5 or so issues in so I have no idea what the shitstorm was about.

I liked the first Young Avengers arc where Iron Lad tried to go back in time and prevent his future as Kang from ever happening.

But the necessity of Kang forced him to submit to his fate.

Well what's the point in going back in time if the current timeline is perfectly fine and doesn't need to be fixed?
>>

Meeting your ancestors, fighting pirates, watching aliens build the pyramids. Something with an ounce of creativity.

Well that's the difference between time travel as a plot-enabler and time-travel as a plot device.

Doctor Who is a show where time-travel enables most of the plots, but beyond getting people to and from places it doesn't figure into most plots.

Days of Future Past is a story where it's explicitly a plot device.

Ask Kang.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
