As for what you mentioned about the naming scheme, it's actually what's used to describe them in the title. Superman would be written as Heroic Alien Superman, Spider-Man would be Amazing Teenager Spider-Man, so on and so forth. At least that's how my buddy who grew up in Japan explained to me.

I also noticed this when I watched subs of Metal Heroes, Sentai, Ultraman, and Kamen Rider. It's usually one of the cliches that's associated with Japanese aesthetics like poses and transformation sequences.

I admit that, if we take boybands as an example, we take men that have tons of work on their physical appearance, and they are still more androgynous that the regular male superhero, but if you take the average white man he won't be as attractive or well-built as Batman. That's an extremely, extremely niche demographic. The overwhelming majority of women won't find them attractive. What seems to be the case with people who are incapable of finding certain races attractive is that the race is just inherently unattractive to them, and no amount of prettying them up will change that.

You can argue that attractiveness is subjective and in the eye of the beholder, but as a society we have certain standards of beauty one needs to meet in order to be considered attractive, and if an Asian is born a male than he is automatically disqualified from meeting those standards.

That's always been a reason why I like Cass. The fact that she ticks a lot of these PC boxes, but she's clearly not made for that purpose, she was made to be a fun character with fun stories who's aimed at the totally normal comic readers, and in the process it just so happened that some of these boxes got ticked. And they never used her as a soapbox in the comics, she was never used for feminist bullshit or racebaiting or any of that garbage, just legitimate stories. She shows how a minority character is done right.
