I haven't been on /co/ that long (3 or 4 years), but there seem to be a lot more Xavier posts recently. I love it. I eat that ketchup nice 'n good. But it's odd. I wonder if there's something about the hypercrisis of 2016 that's bring it about.

My issue with Wonder Showzen was that it felt a bit repetitive. A lot of jokes got overused (kids calling cops pigs, or calling pigs cops, comes to mind)

The second season feels like the show just ramping up the intensity of the wordplay and Xavier's insanity until it starts to fold in on itself. I think the second season has some of my favorite episodes, but yeah it really goes off the rails or something.

"Haunted Tonk" always felt like it was written by someone else that didn't quite understand the show as well, at least in part. Like the jokes were a lot more obvious.

Xavier didn't really play favorites.

Most demographics and stereotypes were bashed, most of Xavier's adventures were in some kind of rural America though so rednecks got the brunt of it.
