>Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara spoke with the New York Times about what could ultimately benefits DC Fans the most about the recent acquisition of Warner Bros. by AT&T is that will help to bring out more direct to consumer products such as Netflix type DC shows.
>“Combining with AT&T will allow us to go direct-to-consumer with brands like DC even faster,” Mr. Tsujihara said.

What shows would you want to see?
LoSH, thanks.
>>87665056
Yeah what DC needs to do is rush more bad tv shows
>>87665074
>Netflix is bad
Marvel fucked up again?
>>87665056
DC Bombshells
Batwoman
>>87665066
>LoSH with a Netflix budget
Why?
>>87665074
>>87665056
But WB ruins everysingle thing they have ever touched
Question.
>>87665474
Netflix is for the poor? Well, shit.
>>87665520

>WB ruins every single thing they have ever touched
Unfortunately this. I'm not longer excited for any WB-DC related projects.
>>87665056
DCEU shows.
The only way to pull a shared universe is to keep the a listers and planet level characters for the movies, while focusing on street levelers for the shows.
A question show would be great, or a nightwing.
>>87665671
>even more street level heroes for Netflix
>>87665722
Budget, anon.
>>87665056
A full stable of genre shows that wouldn't find funding as movies. Western, War, and Future titles would all have an easier time getting made for a Netflix type deal than films. But for the love of god, if you don't have enough plot for 13 episodes, don't make a thirteen episode season and drag it out.
>netflix
Cancer.
>>87665749
>Western, War, and Future titles
I'd kill for a Jonah Hex and a Sgt. Rock.
>>87665752
t. poorfag
A continuation of Green Lantern TAS to go along with season 3 of Young Justice.
>>87665737
They plan to spend 6 billion next year on original programming.
>>87665770
Supporting streaming services is cancer.
>>87665796
>>87665786
Yes, but they won't want to use much of it in one or two series, will they?
>>87665874
No, but they could spend enough to do a few shorter series.
>>87666173
LoSH it is then.
>>87665520
>>87665612
>Young Justice Season 3
>Justice League Dark
>Return of the Caped Crusaders sequel
>New Teen Titans Judas Contract
You're wrong comrades
>>87666386
>Young Justice Season 3
Might be a mess like the second season.
>Return of the Caped Crusaders sequel
Should be great.
>Justice League Dark
>New Teen Titans Judas Contract
It's DCAMU, so it's most likely shit.
I want to see an animated Hitman show, with animation matching McCrea's crazy style.
>>87665281
This.
TV needs more /u/
The merger isnt happening anymore. God emporer trump said so
>>87666605
this isn't good news though.
the reason why this merger was happening is because Time Warner's debt is WAAAAAY too big and actually crippling the company.
So if the merger isn't going through, then they^ll start selling off parts of their company to the highest bidder.
Now imagine if Time Warner decided that DC comics wasn't profitable enough.
They'd sell that shit to anyone waving a hefty check in front of them.
And that's NOT GOOD AT ALL.
DC would then just end up at some shitty chinese company which doesn't care about their properties and will just use DC as a gateway to the west.
Or it ends up at some other mega-company like Disney and gets fuck into a glorified movie advertisement.
>>87665474
make it animated
>>87666771
>Disney buys DC
TIME TO HANG MYSELF
>>87665091
The post didn't say the shows will be on Netflix
>DC will give a show to every b-lister with an easy to film superpower
>Constantine will never come back
>>87666771
Keep dreaming, mouseketeer.
>>87666476
>New Teen Titans designs
>>Disco collar Nightwing
>>80s slutwear/glamrock Starfire
I don't even care if it's shit. I'm going to love it.
>>87665056
This could be a great opportunity for action cartoons. No more CN bullshit
>>87665474
Because budget may be one thing but LoSH needs a serialized narrative format like television to be able to properly capture the depth and scale of the character interactions.
Big budget movies are the absolute worst possible way to adapt comics anyway, so Netflix shows would be a godsend.
>>87666796
They already tried this.
>>87666476
The second season was more consistently good than the first
what are you talking about
>>87665056
>What shows would you want to see?
Ones completely unrelated to everything Zack Snyder does
Netflix shows are good because the format doesnt care season rating, sweeps, etc.
The creators get to tell a story exactly in their terms.
Why can't hulu or amazon prime be a platform for these kind of shows for DC already?
>>87666476
>Might be a mess like the second season.
It was overall of better quality than the first. IF you couldn't mentally handle a larger cast and a time skip you have brain problems.
>>87668609
try it again
