Part of me was thinking it might be something like that, but the other part of me thought I was just pushing correlating it with My Generation out of sheer coincidence.

I remember there was an episode of Gym Partner where Windsor the gorilla was being punished by one of the teachers for "putting candy bars in the school swimming pool". When the teacher said this, Windsor winked at the camera and a cha-ching sound effect played. Can't remember the episode and can't find a clip.

What was the punchline there? Did "candy bars" mean turds? What was the significance of the cha-ching sound? Was it the writers saying, "look, we got away with it"? I don't get what the joke is there.
