it's ugly in comparison to their old spines. they should've stuck with the DC You style where it had the art thumbnail and a variety of colored spines. Now it's going to blend right into Marvel's boring white spines.

Same white spine, but as a Finch Batman headshot I think it looked nicer.

On a mostly unrelated note, almost all French books (like, regular wordy type not comics) have white spines and mostly white covers.

I live in Quebec so our libraries have large amounts of French and English books
The contrast between French and English stacks are quite noticeable.
The French ones are 90% white spined and the English ones haven no real pattern

It's cheaper, stands out more on a shelf and most people won't be bothered as long as it's got everything inside personally I'm not a fan but I'm still going to buy it
