BUT

In a superhero world sometimes you need to punch a mutant with a skin harder than steel, fight an entire alien army or deal with actual fire-breathing demons from Hell. At that point, you need someone that can bend steel, immune to fire and capable of fighting an army in hand to hand. Doesn't matter how sneaky, how prepared or how smart you are.

The most powerful team in the DCU and I would say in most comic/cartoon universes, is either the JLA or JSA, depending on current rosters.
My vote goes for the JLA run that starts Morrison, with the big seven being as powerful as they could be outside of the silver age and Batman being the always had preptime bat-god of memes. Immortal Plastic Man, actual angel from Heaven, two or thee New Gods, Steel doing the tech. That era JLA could probably take this JSA >>87625875
