This whole issue leaves a bitter taste in my mouth in retrospect, though. Not just because we've seen a colossal example of how badly discourse gaming (another form of manipulation) can fail this week, but how Spencer himself tried a little discourse gaming of his own (and he also failed). It's sad when a fictional cartoon villain is more effective in making living, breathing people pay attention to it than other real people.

The speech he delivers in this page, without context, is a bit bleeding heart extreme nationalist but still has some good points.

However with context added it's clear he's just using the speech as passion-rising rhetorics to manipulate people into suicide bombers, and against their own societies no less.

So, the speech in that one page with no context makes some sense, but the character isn't right and is only using the words to manipulate and lie.
