I guess it should be but was it ever the Daily Star in this particular universe? I can't recall if Robinson or anybody else ever established if it was Daily Planet or Daily Star in the New 52 Earth 2.

If it's Daily Planet then the theory that this Earth 2 is different due to the absence of the original Earth 2 Lois and Clark (who if you remember were buried on New Earth after IC) could actually work.

I seem to remember something from an early issue about Alan's Galaxy Communications (or whatever they renamed it as) swallowing up some smaller media companies. But I'd have to actually re-read that stuff to see if it was the Star/Planet. In any case, Planet is more recognizable, so that's why it's here.
