The outfit would be more blue, not just the boots and gauntlets. I think that body and the body to the left are so undefined so they could be anybody. Since they over-looked a few people who could have been included (plus this assumes that sometime in the nebulous future the JL would be THE exact same line-up as in the current issues, which his absurd) for anyone to image.

Sorry - late to the party. The DC Wikia does a good job of listing (and depicting) the variants for (at least) the main DC books. It might not be up (like any other Wikia, it's crowd-sourced/volunteers) right when the issue comes up but (again at least for the main books) the covers are usually up within a week.

If you do a Google search (if all you're interested in is looking at them) folks put they on auction sites and on-line comic retailers also have them, but sometimes they don't have the image, or the images will be watermarked.

I would just grab the digitals since they typically have the variants, even if you are buying the physical floppy for yourself/your collection. You can also ask your shop to order them for you, even if you are late, they should be able to get them for you after the run is over (unless DC or Diamond forces them to buy more than one at an order?). Just ask.

There's an entire story arc where Nu52 Lois wrote to pre-FP and asked her to finish a book, etc. etc.

This Lois is doing what that Lois asked her to do. She got stuck interviewing Lex because he bought the Planet (because plot device) they somehow ended up with Superbro's cape and Lex wanted it and bought the Planet to get it.

They've hinted a few times since rebirth started that Superdad isn't quite who he thinks he is. Eventually it's all gonna come together to some big reveal; Nu52 Supes, Pre-Flashpoint Supes, human Clark, Kenan, SuperLois, and SuperLana are all connected somehow. And most likely it will lead to a return to status quo with one true Superman living on the Earth he is supposed to be on. But we've got at least another year and a half ride before that all comes to a head.

Not that I would put ANYTHING past The Cereal King, since logic nor continuity are never his strong points, they have already established in ARRIVAL that this is the Pre-Flashpoint Superman who was in Convergence, depowered, which lead to the ability to Lois to have a baby (aka Jonathan Samuel) and then, when they went off with prior Supergirl and COIE Barry to fix the multiverse, that same Superman/Lois and Jon ended up here.

The only way to get around that fuckary is to say that THAT set of people died in the multiverse (as presumably Linda/Kara and that Barry) did as well and someone else was, BECAUSE PLOT DEVICE/LAZY-SLOPPY WRITING implanted with those memories and coincidentally consists of a Male/Female and Child and they were also given powers, where applicable, and writing abilities, etc.

In ALL the others, it WAS the Kingdom Come Superman, Flashpoint Batman (Thomas Wayne), etc. AND pre-FP Superman also plays a role in the 9 issue Convergence main title. It would be pure (again) LAZY/BECAUSE REASON plot device to all of sudden say he ALONE out of all of them was not how presented and perceived by everyone else plus audience.

They're going to have to explain the non-Kryptonian Clark Kent and I know some people find it dull, but I think that was an interesting twist. And New Super-Man (Kenan) and Super-Lois/Super Lana are already connected through SuperBro, as is Supergirl, because she is his cousin and apparently the Death of Superman story-line is ignoring/retaining the entire Kara hated/thought he wasn't a legit Kryptonian. And through Lana, and I haven't been reading SuperWoman, but as far as I know she still dating Steel, so he'll be connected to them through this as well.

They just need to find a relationship with SuperDad, preFP Lois and Jon.

A merge of some sort wouldn't necessary surprise me - there's no reason for Lana (and if she returns, N52 Lois) to be powered, and they need to resolve non-Kryptonian Clark Kent, and I also doubt that New Super-Man will be a permanent player unless it sells gangbuster - like issue one did (100k+) and I couldn't find numbers for #3, but number 2 dropped down to about 75K (still better than any of the main SuperFamily titles in New 52, but not as good as the Earth 1 GNs or Superman Unchained.
