Well I found one silver lining to Trump winning.
Maybe they'll actually make Loki President now.
>>
>>87572293
I found another: Hillary not wining.
>>
>>87572293
I wish they had the balls to do something like this. Vote Loki was very well written, but status quo has to reign supreme.
>>
>>87572320
>but status quo has to reign supreme.
DC did it with Luthor when that was just nonsense. Why not?
>>
Trump is not gonna win lol
>>
>>87572820

Oh, sure, /co/ should be a neofascist echo chamber like /pol/.
>>
>>87572958

Fuck man, I'd love to see Loki as the marvel President. That'd be fun.
>>
>>87572293
He was the heroic God of Stories in Vote Loki. No way Marvel would use him as a stand in for Trump.
>>
>>87572999
Shit like this is exactly why I voted Trump.
>>
>>87573136
Same, Marvel really helped give me that extra push to make that decision. Was that their master plan all along?

She's corrupt enough to pull something like this. They're also close enough to try something like this. Though, Trump was likely planning on this backstab.
>>
>>87573187
Seriously this. There is no way that someone actually trying to be the president campaigns the way he does.

It feels like we're living in a Terry Gilliam film.
>>
Since they rehashed Civil War they might as well do a Dark Reign 2. Seems very apporpiate.

No politician campaigns that way.

He won because people didn't want another robot politician.

Returning back to my old home board to say your bitch tears are going to be delightful.
I can't wait for a slow burning 4 year plot line where Marvel makes Redskull president or where DC makes the Penguin Gothems mayor.
It's gunna be great.

What if 616 is paralleling our world with it's events?

Civil War was the election season. A country divided.
World War Hulk was the Blacks and BLM wanting revenge on law enforcement
Secret Invasion is Russia hacking our elections.
Dark Reign is President Trump

Will Siege be the actual siege of Washington DC?

he had the whole thing where his dad called him out on having more mischief than murder, and after he poisoned his mother Hreimdall or someone pointed out that the dose was just a bit too little to kill her, instead only putting her in a coma, implying that was Loki's intended outcome.
He also gave Roxxon the dragonblood hulks then told a story about how when he made his own dragonblood hulk he couldn't control it and it turned on him when he kept disrespecting it
So unless he really screws the pooch I'm choosing to read it as Loki trying to get as deep into Malekith's good books so he can keikaku all his plans out from under him, and in the meantime he just honestly does not give a shit about Jane Thorster one way or the other

Alright, Ive been drinking so Im going to share too much on a comics message board:

As much as I wanted this election to go the other way (which was a lot) I can see Hillary not being in office as a good thing.

The stuff in the primaries, the wall street connections, foreign policy stuff, the idea that the presidency isnt something that should be passed back and forth between 2 families; there are plenty of reasons to not like Hillary.

Im still not happy about the Trump win, the walls going to be a disaster, repealing obamacare is going to hurt a bunch of people, its going to bring out the worst in the culture of the US, hes not going to do shit about global warming, the threatening to silence journalists.
Jesus christ its going to be a rough 4 years.

Hopeful this is just the kind of wake up call the DNC needs to shed the deadwood and actually put up a real candidate and not just someone cos "its their turn".
Sigh, maybe its better to hit rock bottom and recover than spend decades as a barely functioning alcoholic.
>>
>>87576677
No, I just have ulcerative colitis. Which actually helped me lose a lot of weight, since eating the wrong stuff would just make me shit out a lot of blood. I don't think it's a lethal condition on its own, probably increases my chance of cancer there if untreated and just causes me to lose lots and lots of blood every morning, but for some reason one month of suppositories costs $800 without insurance. And that's the cheaper of my two medicines. I really don't get it.

>>87576657
Yeah... I guess...

I think I might have to unironically move back to Canada. Like it's a joke that everyone says every election sure but, I know my medicine is available in cheap generic forms there, I might have to actually do it.

>>
>>87576815
President of Mexico tired to intimidate him and he didn't take it.

He cut to the point and go talking about the deal he wants for the wall.

Which will be done under budget and early.

>>
>>87576820
Well Sisi's a cool guy. I trust Sisi. I know what he stands for and what he will and won't support. I don't want him to be president forever but I recognize he's good for getting the country back on its feet. I just can't say the same for Trump, and I know after seeing how Putin and Edrogan's relationship deteriorated how not to trust initial friendliness.
>>
>>87576737
>threatening to silence journalists.
Freedom of the press involves the freedom of journalists to print any OPINION they like.

It does not give them free reign to publish ANYTHING they like.

Even Obama was railing against the press there.
>>
>>87576878
please elaborate
>>
>>87576843
>Deciding not to treat the leader of the second Super Power like a peon is a bad idea.

The one thing Bush got right for most his administration was not treating Putin like a lesser.

Obama fucked that up and even went put of this way to antagonize Russia.

Gonna take some doing just to mend that bridge.
>>
>>87576852
I'm sure that's what Trump says. But again, this is a man who has had empty, broken promises before. It is important- it is essential- that we don't take Trump at his word, and that we hold senate and congress up to task to make sure to approve the promises that are worthwhile and to make sure that he actually keeps it.
>>
>>87576888
Like articles that say

>some sources say trump fucks donkeys

You can't publish anything you want and then hide behind the "i'm the press" thing unless you're the fucking enquirer. Either be a tabloid or be a real journalist, you can't be both and the era of yellow journalism ended a century ago.
>>
>>87576867
The joke was that Mr. Garrison was literally telling people to not vote for him, but Hillary inadvertently supported him with automated, robot-like responses.
>>
>>87576843
What human rights has Trump broken?

And immigrating to the USA is not a human right, so you can fuck right off with that.
>>
>>87576899
Most the promises for a boarder fence "wall" already exist just congress refuses to budget for it.

Trump is already one great leap above those that came before him on believing what he says.

>the worst in the culture of the US

The yellow press is not journalism, maybe they should have thought about that when they chose to constantly bury stories that could hurt hillary while constantly running a smear campaign against trump
>>
>>87576948
>He's not a politician.
Worse, he's a businessman. I'm not going to forget what he did to Rhode Island, or how Trump University operated. You're not going to convince me by parroting campaign lines like "He's not a politician", the man has been involved with politicians for decades. You got it. He won. It's time to stop campaigning and start being real.
>>
>>87576912
Hence the Washington Post had its press pass revoked months ago by Trump.

I'd like to see him not stock the press pools with the usual big names (most are dried up dying fossils anyway)

But go for the small regional and town based papers. Be fun to see people that want to actually ask a question and want an answer instead of a gotcha soundbite.
>>
>>87576795

But what will Captain America do? The current president is kind of a big deal for him.
>>
>>87576978

>The yellow press is not journalism, maybe they should have thought about that when they chose to constantly bury stories that could hurt hillary while constantly running a smear campaign against trump

Also the wikileaks show they are pretty much just another arm of the Democratic Party. Nothing more than a Party Organ to distribute the news they want people to hear.

That in itself needs to be fixed and walls erected between government and media. It you want to keep the press free from influence.
>>
>>87576978
>"boo hoo americans are finally fighting back against intentional attempts to flood their country with third worlders, this is just the worst"
The ability to come from a terrible place and start a new life is what makes America great.

Obamacare isn't an answer before someone tries that.

It was meant to fail from the start. Obama told that to Kucinich in order to gain his support to get it through the house.

It's costs were meant to explode by design as a way to the make the appeal for Universal Care being the answer.

Donald Trump would gain my respect if he said this
>Now, rumor has it that Russia might have tried to influence this election. That may be true, I don't know, nobody knows for sure, but that doesn't matter, because it's the American people who made the choice. Not the DNC, not the media, and certainly not Russia, it was all you wonderful people. And if Russia thinks that I owe them a favour or whatever, well they're dead wrong, unlike some people I don't do pay for play politics. Actually I do, except the only payment I accept is the support of the American people and the only play I have is to MAGA.

She can't impeach him. And since this isn't House of Cards, nobody can as long as the Republicans control the senate.
>>
>>87577328
Huh, I didnt know that
>>
>>87577300
I will accept him if he shows any tact at all. I turn around full Trump and salute him if he drops the Hollywood persona, rolls up his sleeves and goes "lets get down to business."
>>
>>87576737
Honestly, this. The DNC fucked up by putting a candidate up simply becausr of her name and gender. Nevermind that she was being investigated by the FBI at the time, had clear and obvious ties to wall street, a woman had to be president! And no, I'm not being facetious, all of my democratic friends who wanted Hillary as the president was pretty much this. I could not understand why they were ignoring those issues with Hillary.

Lost the popular vote, according to Google.

Legally, sure. This is what I hate the most about people who talk about immigration and that illegals should have rights, or that we should accept so many refugees without so much as a background check. As an immigrant I find it insulting that people who just enter the US without going through the proper channels would have gotten a faster, easier pass to be a citizen over those that waited the 5 years and learned some english before immigrating to the US. And then accepting refugees without checking them first? What the hell is that? Liberals are comparing it to the jews escaping Germany, mother fucker, the jews weren't trying to destroy us via suicide bombers.

Guess what your ancestors were. You're just a descendant of an immigrant.

His casinos were in the same area so they were competing against each other. Which is why the banks refused to give him the loans for his 3rd casino that would make all three of them go bankrupt due to splitting the money up.
I know you didn't want a serious answer. I felt like giving one since there have clearly been alot of people that don't get the serious answers that should have been told to them.
>>
>>87577790
There are several things I may not agree with Hillary Clinton on and I do think she was the weakest candidate to run vs Trump but repeated investigations by the FBI keep on finding almost nothing and the only things that do get found are entirely inconsequential as they have to get past (for example) 15 different independent governmental organizations for any corruption on her part to mean something.
>>87577976
>refugees don't get background checks
Have you considered actually reading up on what's required to vet refugees? It takes actual months/years of multiple background checks by every intelligence organization the US has access to and even when you've passed the hurdles they stop and make yet another check to see if any new intelligence came out.
No sane or halfway intelligent terrorist would even consider entering the US via refugee status when they can sneak in via to the United states via Canada Mexico, Panama, or just buy a fucking plane ticket then not take the return flight.

He has to keep back the flood of American refugees after all.
>>87576935
He advocates actual war crimes, genocide, the expansion of guantanamo, etc, as governmental policies.
He's in trouble with the FBI for violating the civil rights act via refusing to sell/rent housing to black people trying to be customers.

Which actually makes him a terrible business man, one thing a business should avoid is competing with itself.

But he's not American, he's not even from the same dimension. How can he run for presidency? What will he do when people ask for his birth certificate?

bullshit they still pin the blame on Bush for Obama's own wrong doings. Anything from '09 and afterwards that's on Obama and friends.

If you actually cared about politics and history you would know the housing crisis happened because of Bill Clinton's policies.

The president in charge when shit crumbles is always the one who gets the blame, not the one who set the plan in motion. Which is why people will hate trump when interest rates set during Obama and Bush's terms rise and cause Great Depression 2: Even Greater and More Depressing Edition - Directors cut

Well, I've been wrong before, but unless Democrats literally try to force Hillary Clinton on us I don't see how that's possible. I mean Clinton still won the popular vote, that's how close this race was.

Yellow journalism's still around, we call it clickbait now. Slate, Salon, HuffPo, Breitbart, Vox, Mic, there are countless variations on the same shitsmear tabloid masquerading as news. And regular journalism is in no better state.
