What better way to celebrate the end of one of the worst election seasons ever than by reading one of the worst political comics ever made?
I present to you Liberality for All, a dystopian world where Al Gore won the 2000 election, then Hillary Clinton became President and well, I'll let the official summary speak for itself

>"It is 2021, tomorrow is the 20th anniversary of 9/11. America is under oppression by ultra-liberal extremists who have surrendered governing authority to the United Nations. Hate speech legislation called the "Coulter Laws" have forced vocal conservatives underground. A group of bio-mechanically enhanced conservatives led by Sean Hannity, G. Gordon Liddy, Oliver North, and a young man born on September 11, 2001, set out to thwart Ambassador Usama bin Laden's plans to nuke New York City."
>>
>>87559442
>inb4 Hillary's America
>>
>>87559442
This thing got a lot of variant covers, I probably won't post them all.
>>
>>87559454
This is Donny Lin's first work, it's also his last.
>>
>>87559474
The guy in the car is supposed to be Ralph Nader. A quick Google search should tell you how much effort was put into the likeness.
>>
>>87559486
>>87559451
You'll see soon enough what the author thinks Hillary's America would be like.
>>
>>87559500
What's Al Gore doing in the Popemobile?
>>
>>87559512
>>
>>87559500
>What was it that shifted power and leadership so far to the left?
Nothing that would happen in America today, that's for sure. You've got a center-right and a borderline fascist party, not a right-wing and left-wing one.
>>
>>87559533
So yeah, this is what conservatives thought liberals would do.
>>
>>87559555
So Bin Laden thinks that his greatest enemies are American right-wing pundits?
>>
>>87559555
>>87559567
>This comic

Oh boy, this'll be good.
>>
>>87559567
>WE TOLD YOU THAT IRAQ HAD WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION
Also, the author seems to have forgotten than Bin Laden and Hussein were ENEMIES.
>>
>>87559588
>>87559537
Yeah, if Al Gore had acted the way he acts in this comic, no way he wold have ever gotten re-elected.
>>
>>87559442
How dare the liberal media use their influence to have this comic cancelled, they couldn't handle the TRUTH
>>
>>87559602
>UN Secretary General JACQUES CHIRAC
Seriously? I know that conservatives hated him, but this is absurd.
And it only gets worse.
>>
>>87559588
You real expect the authour to know the difference between the various peoples and cultures of the Middle East? They just file everyone living there under "Islamic Terrorist" and call it a day.
>>
Surely this is going to be a wholly non-partisan, neutral approach to American politics.

I never thought politics could become more of a shitshow until social media entered the picture.
>>
>>87559617
>>87559610
You may joke, but the author seriously claimed that this comic got less sales than it should have because of the "liberal bias" in comic book news sites. Even though this book actually got a lot of attention even in the mainstream media before it came out.
>>
>>87559617
Somehow, I get the feeling the people who made this comic don't understand how the UN works. Call it a hunch.
>>
>>87559617
>>
>>87559656
>>87559646

>>
>>87559724
Feel free to ignore the narration boxes, they're boring and pretentious, and add nothing.
>>
>>87559680
This is how Sean Hannity actually sees himself.

Also, G. Gordon Liddy should be 90 years old at this point. Good thing he too has NANOMACHINES SON.

>>
>>87559849

>>
>>87559869
Why does Bin Laden want to nuke NYC if he's already gotten everything he wanted?

One final note. Based on this image that I presume to be the planned cover for issue 4, it's obvious that Freedom was going to be saved by Liddy and Reagan, and that's how Reagan would join F.O.I.L.
I'm guessing that the "traitor" is just rusing them, and that eventually Chelsea Clinton was going to have a change of heart and help them stop Bin Laden.

Why would the liberal media give a fuck about it? If anything, it makes conservatives seem like a bunch of fools with the comic book nerd stereotype on top of it. A decade ago, when we were suffering under the idoticy of President Bush, this comic's future seemed absurd.

Today, when SJWs are actively censoring our favorite mediums, and their beloved Hillary Clinton seems like she might win the Presidency and give them exactly what they desire - more and more censorship of conservative thought - it seems far too possible.

At least Osama's dead... right?

If Obama didn't censor any conservative thought, what makes you think Hillary will?
The fact that Obama was President for 8 years yet none of the things this comic predicted happened should tell you what to expect from a Hillary presidency. Especially since Hillary will be pretty unpopular and probably won't last more than one term.

The “Coulter Laws” have made conservative talk radios and other such conservative “hate speech” virtually illegal. America clears all international decisions through the United Nations. >Gore rose to prominence for her work with the Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC), voicing strong opinions and advocating censorship, for the labeling of record covers of releases featuring profane language, especially in the heavy metal, punk and hip hop genres

I agree that it's dumb, but this is actually the type of censorship conservatives are in favor of. Not to mention, just because his wife was in favor of this doesn't mean Al Gore would have tried to get congress to make laws on it.
More importantly, Al Gore wasn't out to silence conservative critics like this comic is claiming.

>>87563580
Michael's trying to save face. Trump and Reagan had a lot in common.
>>
>>87563981
True, Reagan was also profoundly ignorant and couldn't be bothered studying or learning things.

>His White House staff found it difficult, often impossible, to get him to stir himself to follow even this rudimentary routine. When he was expected to read briefing papers, he lazed on a couch watching old movies. On the day before a summit meeting with world leaders about the future of the economy, he was given a briefing book. The next morning, his chief of staff asked him why he had not even opened it. “Well, Jim,” the president explained, “The Sound of Music was on last night.”
>>
>>87563981
Regan wouldn't use the type of rhetoric The Donald uses. And he certainly wouldn't approve how he kisses Russia's ass.

>What are you talking about? Censorship is censorship, whether it's done by the government or by private parties.
No it isn't. That's, like, the definition of the free market - if you don't like what someone's doing, you can boycott it, and the Invisible Hand will influence
Also, even without Powerful SJW Lobbies, media publishers decide they don't want to publish "[X] with [Y] content" all the time. That's not censorship, that's just making a decision as private individuals or corporations as to what they will or will not give a stage to.

Reagan also verged to the left on foreign policy and other things and then went senile. So everyone thinks the leftward turn was part of him being retarded.

Michael Reagan is basically like the child of Political Sonic the Hedgehog, in that he has to deal with insane autists all of the time.

Man, George Soros has been the boogeyman for longer than I thought.

I don't read alot of American Military-wank novels, but I HAVE heard of a couple of versions of that basic plotline from Japanese nationalist-wankers, like where they save Imperial Japan from the Americans and preserve the spirit of Yamato Damashii with modern Nippon forces that got sent back in time. Then there's shit like GATE.

Far-mongering conspiracy theories.

Honestly the UN is just a place for a bunch of different countries to get together and fail to agree about anything.

>probably won't last more than one term
Don't start doubting the power of the Clinton political machine. Bush Sr. was the last one-term president, well over 24 years ago. Slick Willy, Dubya, and O'Bummer all had pitfalls that should have tanked any chances at a second term and yet they were all able to tough it out.

My favorite trope is the evil interstellar UN empire, which crops up a lot more than you'd imagine, usually with references to Kofi Anan and his tyrannical dynasty.

>GATE
I could accept the Japanese army easily defeating medieval peasants from another dimension, but them humiliating the evil American imperialists in battle was just pathetic wanking.
>>
>>87565435
Are you seriously saying censorship isn't censorship when the free market or pressure groups do it?

>>87565161
They're more like an evil group of bureaucrats who want to tell everyone what to do. Fortunately, they can't agree on much besides that they want to tell everyone what to do.

And /co/ says conservatives aren't inclined to make comics. This is "Kamandi: At World's End"-tier work, a masterpiece.

Some people write alt-history about steampunk, others write alt-history about 'Murrica. Hell, Mark Twain did it, but he gets a pass because he punched down at a bunch of romantic hicks and because A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court is a great book, crafted by one of the greatest writers in the nation's history.

Let's be fair here. From what I could tell at the time, most of America forgot that. Back when I thought news always told the truth I went WTF at seeing a reporter claim Iraq was associated with al quaeda.

If you like your doctor, you don't get to keep your doctor because health insurance has gotten so expensive.

You get what you pay for. The VA prefers having veterans die while waiting years for care instead actually treating them.

If that's the quality of the government-run healthcare that the US already has, who would want everyone to have it?

It's hilarious to me how it's only liberal pundits that say that Hillary is a war hawk. I have yet to see any conservative talking head say she's warmongering
dumbass

Reading this, all I could think of is that I wish Metal Wolf Chaos got a comic book run.

I can't excuse a political comic for being terrible just because it agrees with my politics. And neither should you.
