Part of the point of the series was to use characters who weren't so overpowered as the Justice League characters. That is, unlike Martian Manhunter or Superman, we aren't asking "couldn't X hero just fix this by themselves easily".

That is, Superboy is strong and fast, but can't fly and doesn't have super-running speed. He also makes technical mistakes while fighting and can't keep his calm (both are unlike Superman). This means superstrong enemies can actually threaten him.

KF is fast, but not bullshit fast, which allows you to tell a story where he must run across the country to save a girl's life. He also is slow enough that capable opponents can still fight him.

Miss Martian can't transform into everything, couldn't phase through walls, and couldn't be truly invisible.

Granted, there's a few episodes where they pull a Worf and knock out Miss Martian and Superboy to provide more challenge for Robin and Artemis. But generally they avoid it.

Guys. You're forgetting something. The reason we all loved Young Justice in the first place.

It premiered in 2011, just when New52 started. It was, at that point, basically the last breath of life for the Pre-Flashpoint characterizations and relationships. Billy Batson was still called Captain Marvel.

I have a bad feeling that Warner Brothers, or even DC, is going to make them change a lot of the lore to make it synergistic with the post-Flashpoint universe.

It's kind of odd they decided to restart an old show instead of just making a different show about superheroes considering the timegap but I'm sure none of the fans are complaining.
I guess this really does prove what has been confirmed by Genndy and CH Greenblatt in the past, which is that in animation shows don't actually get officially cancelled, they just don't get renewed. I think this is a very rare case of that coming into play and them finally ordering another season much later.

I can think of none that would actually be good if revived now. Most of the short-run shows I really enjoyed were from a while ago and were thoroughly of their era.
I'd take either Megas XLR or Motorcity though because the creators are so passionate about them. Clone High would probably still be great too because Phil & Chris have the magic touch and are incapable of making something shit, but they have their hands full.

My problem with the removal of the Speed Force is, well, what's the reasoning for why speedsters don't immediately die when they get hit by a stray rock? With Speed Force, it's because the speedsters project a barrier around themselves. Without Speed Force, what's the reasoning that when a speedster carries a person, that person's head just doesn't immediately snap from the sudden speed? With Speed Force, it's because the speedster projects that same barrier around whoever or whatever they're holding. And the Speed Force allows for some shenanigans, like Bart's famous Speed Force Clones.

So, removing the Speed Force opens a whole can of questions. Yes, I know it's a kid's cartoon and I shouldn't take it seriously, but it still bothers me.
