The costumes in that movie were by far the best of any MCU movie. All the robes looked comfy as fuck yet stylish, not just some typical cheaplooking bath/jedi monkrobes.

No, not exactly. His cape has acted semi-independently of him before and seemed to have a bit of a personality. I'm talking about significantly earlier than Triumph and Torment though.

Why did they make the Eye of Agamotto the Time Gem? It led to a great scene, and I'm not exactly upset it's an Infinity Stone, but The Soul Gem would have been a lot more fitting with its usual powers, while Ragnarok could have easily been Time-Gem-related (Odin straight up calls Asgard the "realm eternal" in Thor 1).

I think its more an average story than a lackluster one. It's pretty solid, I mean it's not like the origin stories of any particular superhero are any interesting anyway. The villain isn't that memorable (as usual) but his reasoning is at the very least consistent and understandable to some degree and there aren't any glaring plot holes.

It's solid. Not a favorite but far from the worst in the MCU. Got solid performances from some very good actors that elevates the material a bit, and there's four really good special effect action sequences that made the film for me. Left me optimistic for a sequel.
