Beyond suit is also great
The Adam West batsuit, unironically.
I'm fully aware it's on the bulky size, but it is a perfect costume for an early career Batman where he's not quite as stealthy as he wishes he can be and utilized body armor to soak up gunshots (which ended up saving his ass). Also the added armor really adds to the physicality of the character.
Simple yet awesome. I really love how the bat symbol is connected to his shoulder armor which are also his cape.

TDKR swole Batman is the fucking best.
>>87529682
This. Apart from the excess bulk and the lack of a yellow belt, this is pretty much the best iteration of the batsuit thus far. Has enough comic-like accuracy while still coming off as realistically plausible in a combat situation. Which is what an ideal batsuit should be.
>>87529682
I dunno, this suit brings up the big debate for me of whether Batman would ever let his eyes be visible.
Having his eyes covered by the cowl is supposed to make him seem something more than human but the Arkham Batsuits always have his eyes visible.

This may be an odd choice but I really do like the Telltale Batman suit. Short ears, white eyes, great logo, pretty much my ideal Batsuit
As far as live action goes, this still hasn't been topped.
The only problem is the stiff neck, which is really inexcusable for 2005.
>>87531861
>The only problem is the stiff neck
And the lack of separation between the shoulders and the body armor. The upper and lower torso could've used some separating for greater mid-section flexibility also.
Honestly, while the TDK suit fixed the few problems the Begins suit had, it went too far with those and created other problems. Slight modifications to the Begins suit would've been better than the complete overhaul that became the TDK one.
>>87531968
>>The only problem is the stiff neck
>And the lack of separation between the shoulders and the body armor. The upper and lower torso could've used some separating for greater mid-section flexibility also.
And the fact that the bat symbol is barely visible. And the gross circular mouth hole. And the weird ears. And the fact that it's 98% black.

Indeed. But >>87536879 was challenging the visibility of the symbol in >>87531861 compared to >>87536794, which is quite visible. I guess this particular case is less so a debate of style and more of picture quality between two specific images.

Ehh indeed. Both that and Batffleck's symbols barely resemble a bat anyway. Not that much of a difference.
It would be odd as a full-time Batsuit, but given the story it was in, I think it was a neat design choice. I don't think it's ever been used outside of knightfall, but it's still one of my favorites.

>>87547315
I'll probably get crucified, but I agree. Everything Keaton is a bit over-rated, especially the plastic suit.
>>87552523
There's a time and place for each. Black logo wouldn't work in '66 or some of the more lighthearted silver age stuff, but yellow oval would be jarring in year one or Red Son.

You say that like it's a good thing. Yeah, he looks like he came out of a comic book. And unfortunately he jumped out of something that combined his TDKR and N52 appearances, which were both fuck-ugly.
>>87555007
>Are you the guy that likes the TDK costume?
If I was just choosing between Batffleck and TDK, I'd pick TDK. If not that's case, I'd pick none because no live action iteration of the suit has gotten it 100% right.
>>87555098
>100% right
But if jumping out of a comic book is a bad thing, how could any suit ever be 100%? He's black and gray with brass highlights. That's what Batman looks like, with the exception of yellow instead of weathered brass. I don't understand where you're coming from.
And how is Ben's suit any more impractical than a rubber onesie or the rubber jig-saw puzzle pieces? At least he can turn his head.
>>87529639
Batman, Robin, Bat milk... this is the most ingenuous or the most gross joke I ever heard about Batman.
>>87555172
>But if jumping out of a comic book is a bad thing, how could any suit ever be 100%?
When it succeeds to look like it is appropriately functional with the requirements of the characters needs and a realistic setting.
Hence why I mentioned they should've done the batsuit like how Marvel's done Captain America's suit in >>87554833. That is literally the only costume that has made a 100% accurate and realistic transition form comic to real life, except for maybe most of the movie Spider-man costumes and Superman costumes.
>And how is Ben's suit any more impractical than a rubber onesie or the rubber jig-saw puzzle pieces?
Because it's a spandex suit. Don't get me wrong, the jig-saw was shit, but at least it looked like it could offer some protection. All Batffleck's suit succeeds in is having a bat-symbol on his chest that doesn't look like a bat, and makes him look fat. Literally nothing about it is appealing and I couldn't keep a straight face when I saw it on screen. Didn't help that his scenes were hilarious-bad as well.

>>87555306
>When it succeeds to look like it is appropriately functional with the requirements of the characters needs and a realistic setting.
>it's a spandex suit
Oh, c'mon, anon. It's kevlar and we all know it. It's also got plating beneath, which Alfred mentions very early in the movie, and that we clearly see when the bullet bounces off his cowl in the warehouse fight scene which should be a perfect demonstration of how 'appropriately functional' the suit is. He was flipping all over the place like a fucking demon. He could also take a knife to the shoulder when Bale keeled over and huffed and puffed when he was stabbed BETWEEN THE 'PLATING' WHERE HE IS VISIBLY WEAKEST.
Ben's suit is cloth, just like your Cap's, but manages not to look like a pristine Halloween costume.
But I don't want to have a greentext war. I'm not going to convince you to like something you've decided to dislike.
>>87555484
oh shit double trips
but after the bale movie it would be a terrible move to pick so close a style if they wanted people to not think oh it's the same batman from bales.
but look at the abs, the pointless rectangles are going in a direction that aesthetically doesn't work. the cowl looks alright as does the cape.
but boots almost don't make sense how they have a bunch of pointless angles and lines. the chest bat is weird too, because it's like they wanted to copy the angular chest plates from tdk movie. idk it's not terrible, just bad for a movie after bale and it's too busy for a comic book.
I'd have to say the Troika suit. It blended the old blue cowl and a new darker Batman perfectly. I think it is the perfect batsuit.
I just like the standard black and gray
Mazzuccelli did it beautifully
Not canon but fits what I'd like to see from a Batman story.
>>87552725
