The fact that the Lego Batman movie looks far more appeasing than any of the DCEU movies says a lot about the quality of its scripts. They should just do what Marvel did with the Hulk movies: fire everyone and wait a couple of years to revive the characters and then proceed to gradually build their storylines over phases which culminate in one big event (in MCU's case, the Avengers). This enables the audience to familiarize themselves with the characters and leaves them wanting more. But the DCU is a fucking mess, who feels rushed and has no charismatic actors to sell it. Give me Chris Evans or RDJ any day before fucking Jason Momoa and Ben Affleck.

I can see the thing about Suicide Squad being true. Where do they take it from here? Do they keep targeting the teenage MTV audience or do they let Ayer do a gritty war film like Fury. Suicide Squad also ended with Harley leaving with Joker. Will she be part of the Suicide Squad in the sequel? Losing her for the sequel will definitely cut a big piece of the box office.

that was the best part of the early books/movies. the school stuff, and the mischief stuff in the school. then they started doing less and less of that and eventually ditched the school altogether, and from there it became mindless mellodrama. the school was the best part.
