Schumacher's Batman films weren't good, but goddamn they were him all over.

I'm not saying that they're better than current superhero films, but by and large they do have a more clear identity. It's much easier to find character in Batman and Robin than Thor 2, even if that character is unadulterated cheese.

I only watched the sequel once years ago, and I thought it was pretty cool. Snake eyes in particular looked great, probably one of my favorite costume adaptations in these kind of movies. even bought a $100 figure of him.

That was PART of the final fight, with Roadblock and Firefly having a speedboat battle that morphs into beachbound fisticuffs after said boats crash into the shore, while everyone else handled their respective parts of the mission to rescue the president and stop Cobra.

It seems like they just had a script that they did not believe would make a movie that would sell, so they just slapped the GI Joe license into it, changed stuff around, and that was one of the things that remained from the old original script for whatever reason.
