So, ABC Family was used to air family-friendly shows like 2 decades ago, but the lineup changed drastically (most of their original shows are teen dramas), and changing it channel's name to Freeform was necessary for it viewers.

I use to think it's the same channel and same stuff they air but in the different name, like Discovery Family who was previously named The Hub.
