I actually liked the concept of this show a bit.

I wanted to do a reboot in my head with what I knew of Egyptian Myth, problem was, it kind of eliminated the need for the Mummies themselves.

Actually the only one who was definitively black was Armon; Ja-Kal and Nefertina were straight-up white -- Rat...maybe beige. As a matter of fact, Prince Rapses looked way white, Presley is consistently brown.

funny thing about colors. if you're anywhere near the mediterranean or the swath of hot, nasty land to the east of it, you pretty much come in every color, and have had access to a huge variety of multicolored neighbors to fuck for thousands of years.. quite unique in the world as far as I know.
we've tried looking at egyptian art to figure out what color they were, and according to them.. uh.. lots? lots of colors. whatever looked best in the art. usually kind of orange.
