I'm black and i think this was kind of retarded. I mean the idea of black alien landing in the middle of the "turn of the century" south and saving a town while facing racism is a cool concept, and the artwork was fantastic (a little inconsistent at some points),But the execution was absolutely shit. The shear amount of Irrational racism made it impossible to believe any of the "bad guys" were so racist that they would rather kill one nigger than save the town THEY live in. This failed because the writer couldn't separate the plot from his own agenda instead of just writing a story that at least makes sense.
The worst part is that this could have been good.
