I'm not much for deep analyses, but I have some ideas.

Ruby's would be like Purple Hermit; no definite physical form, but it allows her to propel herself around in impossible ways. Call it 'Speed of Sound'.

Nora gets 'Good is Good', and it's basically Magician's Red with lightning instead of fire.

Jaune's is 'Guilhem Desq', named after the Hurdy Gurdy maker/player, and is similar to Echoes in that it has multiple acts, each with progressively stronger powers as he grows as a person. Act 1 is a nigh-unbreakable shield with medium range, Act 2 is a short-range Paladin-looking stand that can reflect damage, and Act 3 is a Hoplite that can absorb hits on its shield and use that energy to power up its spear attacks.

Ren has no stand, as a Hamon warrior.

I think they did a disservice to themselves and the audience by using it as a cliffhanger/climax thing.

Because we understand fuck all about the ability, have not properly seen it utilized and can do nothing but speculate until more shit happens - but obviously because it's important it won't.

Like, even if you want to get archetypical here, in DBZ when Goku first does SSJ after this big trauma and a fakeout climax - you still get a whole fight scene. You see something happen with this power to defeat the enemy. All we have is Cinder's reaction which is basically our reaction, Qrow tells a fairy story, and like 6 months later Cinder apparently got BTFO pretty hard.

This is why "SILVER EYES" will be yelled literally every episode or clip or anything until it actually happens.

I mean, I wouldn't say Naruto is 10/10 storytelling, but when he first taps into the nine-tails chakra and goes fucking nuts and takes apart the guy who was kicking his and sasuke's ass - that's a pretty good scene, it sticks with me to this day.

But we already had like a 25 minute episode with a huge fight scene of phenomenal cosmic power with Cinder v Pyrrha and whatever. I personally don't think it's like a full "big bad wolf" thing or physical attack, Cinder's injuries seem more consistent with burns than anything, but like even if it's just "everything in Rube's eyeline is blasted in Silver Flame" that would be better than the fade to white.

Bonus points for slit pupils and harkening to how Ruby was originally supposed to be wolfy-er.
