I don't actually think it would be a good episode but now seems like the perfect time to share a weird episode I dreamed about last week
>Steven finds out that pearl used to have 3 human friends back in the 50s
>apparently they were women's army corps officers who used to meet up with pearl once a week for a book club/gossip session
>they had a falling out when pearl refused to eat some chocolate chip muffins that they baked for her
>Steven convinces Pearl to try apologizing and get her old pals back before they die
>Pearl bakes chocolate chip muffins and offers them to the old ladies, reluctantly eating one herself to make up for the past
>they tell her that isn't good enough
>"you have to eat OUR muffins pearl"
>the ladies present 6 rock-hard stale muffins that are almost 60 years old

>Pearl spends the last 2 minutes of the episode choking down the muffins all the while crying and in visible pain

That sounds like the plot of an episode of a 90s cartoon.

Connie's parents feel her training is taking away focus from her schoolwork and tell her to dial it back and work on her grades, so Steven enrolls in school to make up for lost time somehow. He's immediately ostracized for being different by the school bullies, but in his Steven-y way and support fro Connie, he manages to win the class over with his charms and good nature, with the moral being to stay true to yourself and not let bullies get to you. Then a crazy-eyed Ronaldo stumbles in with an assault rifle mumbling about sneeple and opens fire, forcing Steven and Connie to take him down. The episode marks the beginning of an arc where Steven begins to see the faults of humanity as well as the gems and starts to wonder whether Earth is even worth saving at all.
